Getting there...
For travel arrangements, we recommend flying into Fès Airport (FEZ), which is the closest airport to our wedding location.
Once you arrive, the best way to get around is to hire a car, as it offers the most flexibility and ease for exploring the area and traveling between events.
Alternatively, you may choose to fly into Rabat, which is approximately a 2-hour drive by car, or Casablanca, which is about a 3 hour and 30 minute drive.
Where to stay
If you prefer modern comforts and easy access by car, the New City of Fes is a great place to stay. It’s home to contemporary hotels, all just a short drive from the Wedding location.
Some options we like include Fes Marriott Hotel Jnan Palace, Hotel Sahrai, and Barceló Fès Medina. There are plenty of other hotels in the New City to suit different preferences and budgets.
Hotels
If you’re drawn to something more traditional, staying in a riad in the Old Medina offers a beautiful glimpse into Fes's history, with winding streets, picturesque architecture, and peaceful inner courtyards.
If you choose this option, we recommend picking a Riad that isn’t too deep inside the medina and can be easily reached by car.
